I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of ‘Four Weeks, Five People’ by Jennifer Yu and it was an amazing and beautiful book about friendship and self discovery! It was set at a camp where young people with mental health / disorders go to recover and to get better. A QUICK WARNING THOUGH: There is a HUGE amount of swearing, an unreasonable amount of f-bombs, so that is why I couldn't give the book 5-stars. It followed the story of five teenagers, all with different issues as they go through the camp. I absolutely loved it! I loved all of the characters and I loved the setting! I thought that the camp was really unique and such a cool place to set a book in! I loved the character development throughout the story and it was a really nice ending. There wasn’t much of a complication, there was a few problems throughout but it mostly followed their time at camp building relationships and overcoming their issues and I really like that, it was very realistic.
I definitely recommend this book, its a great read, BUT there is a LOT of bad language!
